    Intel Merced is a slow CPU?

    According to ZDnet, the dirty, little secret is 32-bit Windows applications won't run as fast on Merced (the future 64-bit Intel CPU) once they are compiled. Microsoft is pissed, says anonymous developer.

    YGrep Search Engine is improved for Visual Basic users

    The YGrep Search Engine has been improved for users of the scalar interface. Version 7.02 now includes the capability to search forward after a first "match" has been added to the YGrep Search Engine. Version 7.02 is adding three new functions SAGrepNext(), SRGrepNext() and SSGrepNext().
