In-flight mobile phones? Those who met me face-to-face know that for years I have been opposed to this unscientific law: mobile phones and most electronic equipment are forbiden in-flight. This month (December 2004), FCC has voted to allow the use of in-flight broadband Internet access and is talking about allowing cell phones use. It was about time to stop worrying uselessly and to start listening to the positive tests made by aircraft manufacturers (they show that there is no significant risk).
