R600, this is the name of the next high-end graphic chipset from ATI (just bought by AMD). Some of the prosumers interested in graphics and video-game issues will have noticed that the latest AMD-ATI Linux drivers (v8.33.6) already contain support for the expected R600 platform. It is good news for the upcoming launch of this ATI star product in 2007.
