Common Tern

Common Tern

Instead of dancing and showing off (while his red bill could allow it), this common tern male had caught a nice silvery fish to go and gift it to his bride. What the photos do not show: The female was obviously interested, but the gentle male did not find her so attractive when he met her for the first time (her table manners?) and… he flew back with the fish.
