Brazil, a short trip

I am currently in Brazil for a few days on a professional mission for my company (Johnson Controls). It is quite interesting to observe how it was easy to switch from French to (Brazilian) Portuguese using my knowledge of Spanish and Italian. Apparently, the Portuguese as spoken in Portugal is much more difficult to handle…

Decidedly, this is a country worth looking into if you are interested in wild life photography. I am working in Gravatai a few kilometers outside of Porto Alegre and there are birds all other the place (significantly more than would be expected in some country locations in France): an owl is even visible bearly everyday in front of the plant and a small path has been closed to human circulation to ensure its quietness.

The protection of environment seems a more permanent concern here than in France. We still have to learn a few lessons here.
